Rear view and bed view camera relocation

I have a 2024 Bison edition that will be installing a cap and roof top tent soon. Will need to relocate the rear view camera and would like to relocate the bed view camera also. I've search and see several company's that offer kits for the rear view camera, these even include a camera. I haven't seen any that offer to relocation kit for the bed camera, nor any that allow you to use the existing camera from the truck. Don't feel like paying for a camera.

Anyone done this type of mod?

Don't recall seeing anyone do the bed camera, but a few do the relocation camera. Perhaps you should contact the seller of the cap/tent and see if they have any solutions. Maybe even a few of their competitors will know.

There is a camera relocation kit available.

If you get the current generation RSI smartcap you retain use of video rear view and cargo cam (not perfect, but good. That's what I did

Not sure as I don't need one s never saved the info. I saw a post where a manufacturer makes a camera relocation kit for this very purpose. You'll have to do a search but I did see that one is available.

just google silverado 1500 camera relocation kit. I believe the manufacturer is camera source- but a few different other sites sold their stuff
