Paint inserts on sides of hood?

Anyone painted the plastic pieces that are on either side of the hood? They really stand out to my eye and not digging how they look.

You mean the vertical face of the dmax nameplate or the whole thing?
It probably could be wrapped??

I‘m thinking the whole thing painted gloss black to match the front piece, mirror caps, etc. They just “cheapen” the look of the whole truck to me, just personal tastes/preference.

How did you get that off?

I haven’t yet (found that pic online), but it’s on my list. A new set of them isn’t that much $, so may buy a new set. Could probably do it myself, but to get an “exact” match, I’ll probably have a shop paint them.
