Hello, all of ZR2 fans.

I'm new here. I got my car in August 2024. Love It! Hoping to get more information and guidelines from you.
For example, I bought a Bugflector 2 from AVS, part #25881. Tried to install it according to the instructions. I had a nightmare with that one. After installation, the hood can't fully close, and even worse - I can't get it open because after the installation there's not enough space to get my fingers to the opening latch of the hood. Did someone try to install this part on your car? Did you succeed?

Welcome! I installed one of those on my 2022 ZR2. It definitely makes it tight to get your fingers in there to open the hood. Did you turn the rubber bumpers up as directed? I ended up removing the bug deflector. I have a Lund adhesive mount deflector, just not sure I want to install it on my 2024.

It looks like it's going to be the same for me. I reached out to AVS for additional instructions, and their installer is 15 minutes away. Maybe I'll try with them. The interesting part is that there were no instructions in the box. It's a little bit frustrating that AVS claims that this is a fit part for the truck but it has a failure in installation.
I'll keep you updated. Maybe I'll try the adhesive version...I haven't decided yet.

I have this same one and no issues at all...fit great and no problem opening the hood.

Can you please describe in a couple of words how you managed to install it? Did you install the same item number? What was in the box? I got just the item itself and 6 screws.
