Damn - I wasn't getting any of these notifications! Sorry guys, here's a few pics! I've got some wheels/tires coming later this month and I'll post more once I get them on. So far I've gotten the tint done, installed the Insight CTS3 as well as a diamondback HD bed cover. I traded in my 22' TRX because I found myself (once again) back in the need for an HD truck. The TRX was fun but definitely not good for actual truck stuff.

Dang! Do you miss the TRX?

Welcome
The TRX was my dream truck. I ordered it in late 2021 and waited 8 months for it. I built it exactly how I wanted and I loved it as a daily driver. I live 8 miles off pavement so an off-road focused truck is what I need. It rode smooth and handled well. It was great in the snow and had enough power to do anything I wanted. The problem came when I started a side gig running a food truck (trailer). After a few years the side gig turned into a full time gig and here we are. Towing every day isn’t fun in the TRX.

I know this is a long drawn out answer but I can honestly say I don’t miss it even a little bit. I drove the hell out of it but when it comes down to something lasting and built tough, I’ll take an HD truck over a half ton any day. The TRX is a sport truck but honestly not really any better off-road in every day scenarios (snow, mud, gravel access roads, creek crossings) than this ZR2. When it comes to high speed stuff the TRX is better but not by a landslide. Lastly - the torque of the duramax makes it feel just as fast as the TRX from a stop light even though we all know it isn’t even close. The TRX has gobs of power but the ECU really manages it to the point where it’s underwhelming.

I wanted one so bad, then my brother-in-law got one. Definitely not what I would have wanted and glad i didn’t go that way. His is a pavement Princess will never see off-road while he owns it. lol

The sports trucks are nice but really just like a glorified Jeep. I had a Raptor and the TRX but before the Raptor was an F250 diesel, after the Raptor and before the TRX was a GMC 2500 diesel. No matter what I just keep coming back to an HD truck.
