Seriously, I remain completely perplexed at this point on why GM demands their classic “rake” in an off-road truck.Needs a serious leveling
I’m with ya, I’m thinking the 1500 may get upgraded for the HD variant at some point down the road. Diggin the black.I see they still got plenty of shit hanging below the body and frame too. One of the reasons I didn't order auto steps is that I thought I might go with a stationary sidestep to cover up some of that garbage.
On the 1500, I wanted auto steps so it wouldn't look like it sat so low. Not a problem on 2500, I'm impressed by overall height. Might look perfect leveled and 37s.
That thing is gonna look great when it's dirty!
So it sits level with a load. Maybe they need to have a poser model for those who don’t use their trucks for anything other than transportation.Seriously, I remain completely perplexed at this point on why GM demands their classic “rake” in an off-road truck.
You asked why they do it and I gave you a reason. If you level then the rear leaving angle is effectively reduced. If you take yours off road then no you wouldn’t be a poser. To each his own.Ha, funny, poser is a bit much until all HD trucks drive everywhere loaded…even the majority. A rake in a zr2 seems to me like it would reduce approach angles, clearance, etc…which drove my comment about the rake in an off-road package. To each his own, I guess I’m a poser
I know, I should have phased it I disagree with their decision in an off road package. And I misunderstood the context of “poser”…completely agree with you there. You asked why they do it and I gave you a reason. If you level then the rear leaving angle is effectively reduced. If you take yours off road then no you wouldn’t be a poser. To each his own.
