Here’s Why GM 6.2L V8 Recall Doesn’t Apply To 2025 Model Year Vehicles

“A series of crankshaft and connecting rod manufacturing improvements implemented on or before June 1st, 2024, addressed contamination and quality issues. Model-year 2025 vehicles were built after these improvements and are not included in the recall.”

I wonder how much time before June 1st they started using the "improved" parts? My truck is dated May 2024.

Damn, mine was manufactured in 12/23 and it’s a 2024. I put that Range in it with maybe 100 miles and changed my original oil at 850 miles. Changed the oil at the dealership right at 3k miles. I’m at 3200 now. I really do hope I won’t have issues. Have the extended warranty, and will have the recommended oil.
