Killer forum, thanks for the add.
Here is a ZR2 1500 Illustration I put together out of frustration! I am on a 4 months and change wait for my truck. Dealership not proactive and weak on communication. Has anyone been able to cancel an order and get their deposit back? There is another dealership that has the exact same truck with everything I want in transit, due two weeks.

By law (in most all states) deposits are 100% refundable. They want you to "think" it is not, but it is.

They will not return the deposit and salesman said he will not go to bat for me. They said they are not responsible no matter how long it's delayed. I will speak to the general manager next if this continues.
