Don't know if anyone has posted anything about this yet, but apparently GM and several other automakers are, or were using OnStar Smart Driving and selling people's driving habit info to insurance companies, and some people's insurance premiums were raised because of it. Don't know if this has happened to anyone here, but it might be something worth checking in to.

When you bought that POS, you signed a waiver that had fine print detailing what they do with your information....You gave them permission to sell it (not you, but whomever bought it new). That 30-day free trial for OnStar is worth money to them, in one way or another.
