Just got a call and the part is in. Glad I am not on the hook for it. As with most things on the newer trucks no component parts just the assembly and it would have cost me about $1100.00

Also getting this update done.

Update on the mirror. When the big box with the new mirror was being put in the back of the truck to take back to the tech for install, I asked again if there was a light module as someone mentioned to me that there was a PN for it through GM. My SA went to the parts folks and a different person knew it off the top of his head. So, in short only the light module was replaced. Watch these because it is not a common issue but not an uncommon one either.

Interestingly, my drivers side task light isn't working. Marker light is fine, but the white forward facing light, nada.

Also, when I turn my fog lights on, after I turn the truck off, the passenger side task light stays on even after it's locked and minutes go by.

Anyone else having these issues?
