While this isn't the engine in some of our 24 ZR2's with the Duramax, it is the first iteration of this engine (LM2) so it is still kind of interesting.
This is the 2nd LM2 that Eric has torn apart, the first skipped time likely due to low oil level letting the chain tensioner go slack, but this one looks like maybe it ran gas and melted stuff, just Eric's guess at the end. Anyway, it is kind of a fun teardown and now I know where the Coolant Control Valve is on these things anyway.
