2023 ZR2 About 3000 miles. Driving fine then sat for about an hour. Went to start, cranked and warnings and lights every where. Brake failure, trailer brake warning. Top speed limited to 43. Help! Now it is completely dead, wont jump, wont unlock with fobs, completely dead. Unhooked battery for an hour, hooked battery back up and still nothing.

There's a brake controller safety recall. It's posted on this forum. The software sucks too, I've had plenty of codes with no issues found.

Use an OBD II code reader and see what codes are thrown. Clear them if you have to and drive to the dealer.

Thanks. had AAA come out today, was going to have it towed to dealer. AAA hooked up their jump box and the truck fired right up with no warnings. turned it off. unhooked jump box, tried to crank and nothing happened. jumped again and drove straight to the dealer. Will update as soon as i hear something. hopefully just a battery. strange on a 2023 with only 13000 miles?

13K in 2 years isn't many miles. it's hard on a battery to see little use. you should put a battery tender on it if not driving it regularly.

sounds like the same issues I had with my 2020 Rubicon. Battery would go dead overnight. It happened 4 times and everytime the dealer would tell me that it was a defective battery. The 5th time, they told me the same thing and I refused to pick it up until they actually figured out what was wrong. They told me that it was a software issue and I ended up lemon lawing it.

Had a similar issue with my wife’s car due to her driving short distances each day. In our case, it was a bit more extreme than OPs as her car is a 2018 with <30k miles on it. In our case, the car wasn’t being driven long enough and it needed a new battery every couple years. Now that she actually has a commute longer than 20 seconds lol we have not had an issue with a four year old battery.
