That's why the truck is the cheap part of ownership. By the time your done setting it up and paying for fuel and maintenance, it cost more than the truck.

I guess I forget some people have to start from scratch with trucks and towing later in life. Not real sure on their exact recommendations. But yeah, I always carry a floor jack with me. As well as a full tool box. Hand held and a head lamp flash light. Whether I'm towing or not. I always have air, plugs and valve stems, air, ect. EQ hitch is definitely needed for heavier bumper towing. I guess if you just bought your first truck ever, it is a bit of a long list of stuff to aquire, lol.
