B&W Multipro 2.5” hitch on sale at Autozone for $241…

I have the 5” drop B&W and it works great. That is a great price.

Yeah, I had been on the lookout for a used one (most used ones in my area being sold have never or hardly ever been actually used), as I didn't want to spend $350+ for a hitch. I ordered one as soon as I saw this posted on a ZR2 Facebook group, and figured I’d give folks here a heads up.

I have a 2” WeighSafe now and was using the 2/2.5” adapter, removing every time I used it, etc. Not destroying my inner tailgate and being able to just swing the ball portion to the back sounds great!

I bought the 2" version for my 1500 ZR2. When I got my HD I did the same thing on marketplace. Kind of kept an eye out. Lucked out, ended up finding a guy who just went the other way. He had a HD and went to a 1500. So he had his 2.5" for sale. He had mentioned why he was selling it in the post. Messaged him and we ended up just trading hitches in a parking lot, lol.

Mine was delivered a couple of days ago. It made it ok, but they (B&W) just shipped it in the box it come in, nothing extra - surprised it wasn’t torn open and damaged. All good for me, but I bet some others had damaged goods, as the box isn’t heavy enough to be bulletproof for the ups/usps/fedex folks.

Nice hitch though and great price!

I have that one. Originally bought for a slightly lifted F-250 and it worked great. I then put it on a F-150 and hit shit all the time.

This ZR2... I've had it about 2 weeks, driven it 5x, and already tapped bottom twice.

I think it may finally be time to buy a shorter one.

It hits on the ZR2 but didn’t hit on a slightly lifted F250?

No biggie for me honestly, as I don’t leave ‘em in the truck all the time myself.

I think I had 2 or 4" and then 35" tires. I don't recall it ever hitting on the 250, but it may have tapped once or twice.

The F150 would get bumped in city driving at times.

On the HDZR2 you probably won't ever drag the B&W. I mean off road you could, but driving on pavement I doubt it. The stock hitch height is 26". The B&w is only a 7-1/2" drop. It's actually just barely low enough for smaller trailers. Average trailer tongue height is 16"-19"

I knew the HD’s were big but that’s 4” higher than the 1500.
Yep, lol. They are surprisingly tall. The night I brought mine home it didn't have steps on it. My wife couldn't even get in it to check it out. I put my high clearance steps on it the next morning and it still took her and my younger kid a second to figure out how to climb up in it. So much so I thought I was going to have to get power steps for them. I used to drag the 5" drop hitch on my 1500 on pavement occasionally. In 12k miles, I haven't had the 7 1/2 drop touch anything on the HD.

Great to see someone who can park between the lines :ROFLMAO:

lol, Wasn't me. That was where the salesman put it when he pulled it around. I parked the 1500 there. To be fair, If he put it between the lines you couldn't have opened the doors, :ROFLMAO:. Dealership in Columbus, Ohio. They had very narrow parking spots even though it was a big dealership.
