Another DFM disabler?

Received an email from this company today regarding their new device. More choices to disable DFM. Supported Silverado engines/years

Based off of old posts, it seems like it might just be vaporware. No testing or public posts made on development progress. Suddenly appears on market less than a year after their kickstarter gets cancelled. Uses the OBD port which has been proven to be locked down with only HP Tuners able to defeat the encryption so far (after years of development).

Honestly it sounds fishy but will be happy to recant my statement if this simple dongle does what is advertised

I recieved the same email in my inbox today too, I believe this is the same company that makes the OBD MX 2+. I have one of these in case my Z throws a code...Better get AXE and SECURITYGUY on this right away....They will get to the bottom and get us some answers...

I have a few OBD MX scanners. They have been generally good products, but I do think it's harder to get the device to connect with my phone in my new rigs vs previous ones. I mainly use the TorquePro App, but also have the OBD MX App.

I have my amp steps connected into my OBD port, so would need a splitter to run this. I know when I unplug my AMP steps, the vehicle gets a lot of network codes stored. Seems like the Global B software architecture is very sensitive to external inputs. Not sure anything in the OBD port is 100% reliable, but could be.

The AMP steps OBD connection is only controlling the signal for the door opening, but otherwise seems to function fine when installed and wired properly.
