Truck Specs: 2024 ZR2 bought June 15 6.2 L
First off absolutely Love the truck look & style, and Slate Gray color!
I came from a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7 L Hemi Express Trim.
What I love.
The seats are great, love how the feel of the leather, have enough give in them that on a long trip your butt doesn’t hurt.
The rear view camera mirror option is great, gives you a better rear view then using the normal mode mirror.
Heads-up display this is a first for me. I really like it, the only negative I have found from it is when wearing sunglasses & having brightness turn all the way up it is a little dim.
Heated seats, Cool seats, heated steering wheel love it! One of the biggest things I missed in my old truck not having it.
Live in Iowa!
Cameras are a big plus never had but one rear view in previous trucks.
Like the big horizontal display, and all the Adjustment you can tweak.
Love Active Exhaust!!
Gas mileage is great! Anywhere from 18-21 MPG
What I hate, and is something wrong?
1) I wish the Tilt steering would drop a little lower, and the telescoping would come out a little further.
2) I Boise sound system is not great, I expected a better sound out of it.
3) I have noticed when driving over 45 mph and it’s windy out (20 mph) I hear wind noise like the doors are not sealed!
Biggest Complaint!!!
4) Steering feel - The steering feels loose, maybe a bit of play in it. Not sure if it’s the shock package, or the steering box itself.
Going down a steep decent at 55-65 mph feels loose.
Nothing like the Dodge that had great steering feel.
I changed my oil at 1,000 miles it looked good! Hopefully I won’t have a motor issue.
Appreciate any comments on the steering issue.
