Hello everyone,
I've been going a lot through threads to find out what's best on wheels/tires upgrade.
Can an expert give me a full solution please?
I was told to install Method 305 17" wheels with BFG KO2 35x12.5r17. Question will be what offset i should get on the wheels?
Some is recommending a 1.5 inch leveling kit and some are saying a 2 inch lift kit. by lifting 2 inch from the front, how much lift i should do on the back? 1/2"?
What's the best Upper control arm to use for such upgrade? Peak? RC? please advise.

Unfortunately, I won't be your one stop expert since I don't have a half ton, but some info:

Question: What is your use case? I see you are in Qatar, are you planning mainly a combination of on road and dune/sand style off road?

1. The Method 305s fall in a very large category of mid range cast aluminum wheels. Method is owned by Fox and is a respectable brand, but there are many others in this category that you can consider. Realistically, once you identify size and offset most of the rest is up to cosmetics. I will warn that faux bead locks without drains normally have a lip and collect water/mud/sand. As another option, I run Raceline Clutches on the Jeep, which are similiar in quality and look to the Methods.

2. Front/Rear lift difference is up to taste to some point. The factory rake is designed to allow for level suspension when loaded/trailering. This becomes less important the less you do that. Note, if you change the rake, you should adjust the headlight aiming to accommodate the new angle to prevent blinding oncoming traffic with your low beams.

3. I run 37" KO2s on the Jeep. They are solid on road, wear well, and do well in sand. They are mediocre on rocks. They suck in mud and tend to grab and throw gravel. Sidewall puncture resistance isn't great in the rocks. The KO2s tend to run lighter than similar offerings from other manufacturers and are smaller in actual size given the same manufacturer listed size.

4. You'll want to air down in sand. I'd recommend considering on board air for airing back up for on road, and auto-deflators for airing down quickly/easily.

Method’s website doesn’t list the 305s fitting our trucks in 17”. The 2019+ calipers have a can be an issue with some of the 17” wheels so be sure to test fit any wheel before you mount a tire. I actually just bought a 17” 305 to test fit on my truck and it is very close, only about 1/4” of clearance in the diameter and 1/8” to the spokes in one spot.

Wheel offset is a personal choice for looks, some like more tire poking out than others. Usually aftermarket control arms need 0 or negative offset for the tire to clear. The more negative offset the more the tire will swing and the more contact with the body you will have.
And just like gator said, method isn’t the only good wheel manufacturer, I looked really hard at some KMCs before picking methods.
